Hi there!

My name is Asma', an unemployed and anxious, 23-year-old with a bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul. I love photography, watching movies, reading, and (supposedly) writing. What this blog is all about? you may ask. Well, I can say it'll about everything that comes to my brain-box that I could somehow translate to some--hopefully easy to understand--words.

Why inspired you to start the blog?

As you've probably noticed, I wrote "my dad wants me to write, therefore I write" below a very random name I've picked for this blog

So, yeah, my dad loves to read my writings. He was always the first to notice when I stopped posting something on my Wordpress blog (which I could no longer access) and assiduously reminded me to write about anything. I didn't think about his request until a few days later when I decided to create this blog. Because came to think about it now, this could be one way to make my dad proud (although he says he always does no matter what). He believes in what I can do and I should never take that for granted. It doesn't hurt to write a few paragraphs, right?

The other reason besides trying to appreciate my supportive parents is that I need something to do with the abundance of time the current pandemic situation offers. Some of my friends have made use of their time with various productive works such as creating Youtube videos, interesting podcasts, drawings, or working on cool designs. I really want to follow the current 'cause I have the types of equipment it needs, but one thing I don't have; confidence. At least in writing, I don't have to expose myself too much. I don't have to worry about how do I look or sound like because no one obviously can't see or hear them.

So, yeah. That's basically the thought process that prompted this 'project'. I don't really have a blueprint of how I want this blog turns out to be, I guess I'll just learn as I go.
